The problem with this is that if people know they've got a 24hr window, they're going to show up at their own convenience and that is all. Imagine someone doesn't show up until the last 4 hours of those 24 hours and one of the winners of the first game is still waiting for the other guy? And some parts of the bracket have advanced to semi final etc? It's a mess. All we need is to set a time, gather the info on who will play and who won't. If we don't get enough people, we keep changing the time until we do.

Sunday mornings (Eastern Australian time) have proven to be successful since that is Saturday evening for Americans and (obviously) sunday morning for Australians.

And the map pool is the map pool for the GSL. I do that because I don't want anyone arguing over what map they don't want. Players get to eliminate two maps, and then players will choose what maps they play on from there. It's the way the pro's do it and thats the way we are going to do it so there won't be any fuss about imba map pools.

Again, the complete details are going to be released 3 days before the tournament. Why? Because it keeps the suspense up, no one knows who is playing who, and because it proved successful the last time we did it.
