So this weekend is the Intel Extreme Masters. It's basically a competition between gamers hosted by Intel. 1st place gets $4,000 USD, 2nd place gets $2,000, 3rd place $1,200, 4th place $800.... here is the roster.

Group A:
1) HuK
2) drewbie
3) Murder
4) Suggy

Group B:
1) Fenix
2) qxc
3) KiWiKaKi
4) Silver.369

This is pretty much the best of the best in the SC2 scene right now. Group stages were played(spoiler coming up) and HuK, drewbie qualified as well as Fenix and qxc.

All games are being streamed on http://www.esl-world.net/masters/season5/newyork/esltv_stream/ and here is the schedule of the games http://www.esl-world.net/masters/season5/newyork/. I really recommend atleast watching a few of these games. Yesterdays game of HuK vs drewbie by far the most intense, APM intense, SCII game I have ever seen.

And of course, Day[9] is casting these games :), alongside with his Asian sidekick that I have no idea who it is lol.

They have a few of the reps that were played yesterday at http://sc.gosugamers.net

EDIT: Drewbie vs Fenix are playing right now. Series is tied 2:2. These games are just so awesome to watch. HuK vs qxc after this series.

BTW, that Asian co-caster is TheGunRun, who was pretty active during the beta and I think still does his own stream. I think he came over from the Command and Conquer scene and he's not all that knowledgeable about SC2. But dear god does he have a great voice.

Watching the finals now!

Dammit I hate timezones T_T... I definitely plan on checking out some of these games though, are they freely available as VODs?
