The Proxi Open

G'day All!

Letting ya'll know that the tournament I have been setting up has been published on challonge.com.
The details regarding the tournament are all stated on this link:

This is the first Proxi team open tournament, and I hope to do a lot more seasons as our already well established community grows further! I tried to make it as similar to GSL tournaments as possible, without being impractical.

The bracket is LIVE , so last minute sign ups are no longer possible!!!!!I will edit this post with the final results :D.

The bracket might change a little bit if last minute people join. Though just for the sake of holding you to your words I will rig it so you both vs each other :DDDDDDD

At least make it so I don't play a Terran in round2

were you planning to make this an open tournament? should advertise on some sites, so that there are more people, and so the brackets could shift around a little :)

Yeah, just chuck me your character code and race you want to play and I'll chuck you in there.

Yeah ProHan needs to sign you up Echoes. So anyway, this is the kind of tournament where people play their games as-and-when they can right? So it could go for a variable length of time? You just submit your results when you're done and then check your next game?

Not precisely, I tried to make it casual like that but some people would end up waiting a very very long time. So each upper bracket round has been allocated 3 days to completion. Therefore if there are 6 rounds then the tournament will take 18 days (6x3).

However, the lower bracket doesn't have an allocated deadline, but when it comes close to the finals we will have to hurry it along.

It says in the rules on the bracket :D
Though coz I'm such a nice guy I'll state it again, the person who has been the LEAST available will get disqualified. Availability is determined mainly by how often the player was ready to play their match. If you show up on the last day of the 3 days and are ready to play but your opponent isn't, I can pretty much guarantee you won't be disqualified, and your opponent might not be either should they have a good reason.

Can the masters league players have higher seeding and not be matched against each other? >.>

I just randomized it. But I'll seed it coz that sounds cooler.
