Crysis 2 is a science fiction first-person shooter video game developed by Crytek and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, that was released on March 22, 2011 (US). It is the sequel to the 2007 video game Crysis and its parallel expansion game, Crysis Warhead. The story was written by author Richard Morgan. Another science fiction author, Peter Watts, was also consulted and wrote a novel adaptation of the game. It is the first game to showcase the CryEngine 3 game engine.

Crysis 2 is set in New York City in 2023 (three years after the events of the first game), which has since been evacuated due to alien infestation. Similar to its predecessor, Crysis 2 provides freedom to customize weaponry and abilities. Crytek wanted to avoid making another game set in a jungle environment, as were Far Cry and Crysis; New York City has been dubbed an "urban jungle". The urban atmosphere offers more options in how to progress and plan attacks. Players are able to navigate between floors and buildings, as well as a destroyed cityscape.

Fixed your post. Use this as a lesson on how to open a thread.

Rofl, nice one echoes; Bobo will be proud!

As for crysis 2 i didn't really like the first one and i don't really care much for the second one. It just feels like a step back from the original because it has been released on console it has taken away from the impressive graphics the first one has, and correct me if i'm wrong but there is no directx 11 support. Also it has xbox style error messages when you play on the multiplayer which is an epic fail.

A side note: my favorite game to play while hung over is bullet storm check it out ^^.

Haha, nah my original post was terrible, just; "who wants to play with me?" pretty much. Yeah it does seem pretty console like, the multiplayer feels like a mesh of halo and cod, not really unique. the graphic options are super limited so im not really sure what it has, i think black-ops single player may have been better tbh.

Is bulletstorm good? does it have co-op campaign by any chance? I like to have something to roll when im hungover or rly rly tired that is just easy.

Nah idk if bullet storm is co-op i think it might be i just played the single player.

Dawn of War 2 is pretty damn good, but I still vastly prefer economy games like sc2, so DoW series never caught on... On a side note, RPGs and FPSs are ideal if you feel a bit hungover, ie: me every sunday lol

We don't, really. But we certainly shouldn't eschew from quality posting. This place is what you make of it. If you post crap, soon enough you'll be reading crap, and who wants that? ;)

If you play Dawn of War it won't mess you in SC2. I see Dawn of War as the 'fun, non-serious' version of SC2. It's all micro.
