New Casting Gig

Hey guys so recently those Game of the Weeks have been paying off. I recently just got asked to cast the North American SOLO League(dont confuse it with the real NASL lol). Anyways the tournament is going to be casted by myself (co-caster) and by another dude that goes by the name of panda. Its a $50 prize pool, not many big names in the tournament, but its still something. I'll link you guys the link on TeamLiquid.net

They are also looking to fill up staff positions so if you guys want to help out please join in. Anyone can sign up for these too so make sure to register if you guys want to play in it. Anyways, please come out and support the tournament(just leave the channel on if your not going to watch it just for the numbers to get sponsors in the future ;]).

NOTE: We are looking for a streamer right now. We do have a streamer but he is in charge of updating the brackets so if he streams its going to make his job a living hell. So please if you got a computer that can stream you can have my babies. <3333.

EDIT: I'm still doing the GOTW's by the way. In no way am I or will I ever stop doing them :).

Well done man, congrats. What setup for you got for your casting, software, and hardware wise?

Ive been thinking about doing it for quite sometime myself, or at least streaming gameplay now with my updated machine, though I dunno what my stream quality would be like, my internet is quite solid, but it has some serious hiccup, due to some OLDSCHOOL infrastructure where I live

We are actually looking for a streamer right now.

My latency will be through the roof mate, australian ping is world renowned for being effing terrible... I'll look into it after work and keep you posted, my machine is a beast, and internet is pretty much unused when you would be casting.

Sweet let me know if you can. Look at the thread, all the information is there including time. Your going to have to to be there streaming and moving the camera around in the games.

Unfortunately the games are at like 10am here, and I work until 6pm during the week... Sorry mate, hope you find a streamer

Bobo did u find someone to stream yet? heavily considering taking the day off work, in tests i could stream at ultra settings and high quality on livestream.

It's over already and we didn't record the sessions because the computer that was streaming wasn't great as it is.

However we did peak at 29 viewers which is not bad at all.

It was really fun. The next tournament is in 2 weeks on Wednesday, same time and everything. I'll link the post once they it up on TL. You guys should definitely join.

bobo, if u want to use my computer to stream it, i am happy to take the day off work in advance, would be fun. - can have vods then also.
