Use this thread to discuss GSL Season 5!

I just bought myself a premium ticket for this season because I missed July's performance last night in the group A stage. I had heard a lot about his matches.

All I can say is that everyone else should do the same.

JULY is such a baller lol. Admittedly he got lucky with his 2nd game vs MVP but I was truly impressed with his low-eco play. I really hope he can take it far this season!

I've been a bit slack on watching GSL lately. I recommend if you are watching the GSL come in proxiteam and vent have a chat about the games. Me and fight are often in there talking about the games.

It's SO hard for me to stay up to watch these live. And I don't have the spare money to buy the premium ticket so im stuck with the battlereports on TeamLiquid. If you guys keep me preoccupied throughout the night until 30 minutes before the game starts then I'll watch with you guys.

im getting my new computer next week with a copy of windows, so i can come listen to the banter in vent, yay =)

i havent finished watching those code S matches, but i saw the july vs mvp game, he played very well.

did mvp look really really sick to anyone else though? (he almost threw away that game with hyperdub also)

SanZenith... omg SanZenith, coming from how shit he was in previous seasons to winning three solid games against Nestea, SlayersBoxer and oGsEnsnare... amazing. That dude played beautiful games. Tastosis was in shock, and I think so were Nestea, Boxer and Ensnare! Nobody expected this dude to come from getting roflstomped in under 5 minutes to being such a baller. He's come from being a bit of a laughing stock, to having the last laugh as he L-O-Ls his way over champions.

I loved the way July played and I'm happy he won. :) I mean I've been a fan of him ever since his game against Sea in BW when he lost his natural, Terran was up 2 bases, and came back and won. Amazing game.

Definitely going to try his method of playing though. He won all those games on no more than 60 drones.
