[Brackets]Tournament of Champions Part I

HERE ARE THE BRACKETS:

Please be wary that the people included in this bracket are the people who said they would attend the Tournament of Champions next week. If you CANNOT make this tournament this Saturday, I urge you to please comment this post telling us you cannot make it so we can therefore remove you from the brackets.



Without further ado, here are the brackets!!!!

Here is the map pool:
1)Metalopolis
2)Steppes of War
3)Xel'Naga Caverns
4)Delta Quadrant
5)Shakuras Plateau
6)Lost Temple
7)Scrap Station

Each player will eliminate a map until the final map is chosen. The first person to eliminate a map is the higher seeded player, determined by number next to your name on the bracket. Keep in mind that the seeds were randomized, so if you got a bad number, sorry :). I have placed an example below for you people who don't understand what I'm saying:

Lets say Player A is playing Player B. Player A is higher seeded so he eliminates Scrap Station first, then Player B eliminates Steppes of War, etc, etc etc, until the last map is chosen.

All of the matches are Best of 1's. The Semi-finals for the Losers and Winners Bracket is Bo3 and the finals are a Bo5.

If you have any questions or concerns, let me know. I myself(Bobo) will not be able to make as I have a gig to play that night. Veom will be taking over and recording the scores, it's not that hard.

And if you're afraid that the Best of 1's is going to make the tournament go by fast, trust me it won't :). Last time we did this, the tournament lasted almost 4 hours.

Btw what is the deal with obs? I was thinking that all player who are playing the game should be set to busy. Also Obs should only be people known to proxi. They don't need to be in proxi just known to proxi ie: tim or waesnok

Do all of these players know the date of this? Because I know that a lot of these players signed up for the February 5th one.

Ok there seems to be some confusion. Let me explain.

Next weeks tournament is still going to be run at the same time. Because of popular demand, I have organized ANOTHER tournament this Saturday(Sunday for Australians) to give the players who can't make next weekend a chance to play.

If you read the post, I specifically said, "I went ahead and included all of the players that confirmed for NEXT WEEKS Tournament into this tournament. If you CANNOT make this weekends tournament please let us know in the comments and we will remove you from the roster."

Yup i can see the brackets and add people, i also asked fight to make an account, because 2morrow is super hot and my power sometimes goes off on hot days, so this way he can also edit the brackets and stuff if i can't.

This is quite confusing. There is a tournament tomorrow with almost the same name and time as the tournament one week from now. Anyway, I'll show up online and play whatever the case.

IMO you should never create brackets before the day, due to no-shows and last minute entrants. And I've always used either http://www.battlereports.com/tournaments/index.php or http://www.bracketmaker.com/ for hosting brackets, though it doesn't really matter.

Nape I don't know what better way to explain it. I've explained it in more ways than one. If you don't get it read the posts over and over again or ask someone else. The purpose of this tournament, like I've stated before, is to give people who can't make next weeks tournament a chance to play.

The brackets have been up since Wednesday night, your Thursday morning.
