Pvz interesting start for Zerg

first time and only time someone did this start vs me in P(Me)vZ. the usuall block the ramp and get warp gates or do w/e tech your doing, anyway i was doing warp gates and the guy went banes and lings, banes took out my block and the game was over. lings own protoss in early game unless you block and mass up. as i was typing this i thought maybe a sentry would have work, ahah! GG! still a good start for zerg

Yeah if you got a sentry or maybe even a cannon at your ramp then you should have been fine. Something I always tell the fellow Protoss players in the clan; if you see gas before pool, be prepared for some sort of baneling bust or speedlings. I really like to open with that because it catches Protoss off guard if they are teching.

ahh i see, no way i can make a cannon.. thats too many minerals at the start for no army, know what i mean, and the banes would just take that out also.. :)

ye if u see like 13 gas 13 pool or some equivalent opener from Zerg, plan for aggression and make units. I personlly will do things like make several sentries and zealots and 1-2 stalkers. Zealots and sentries to stop pure speedling busts. sentries and stalkers to stop baneling busts. Its also an all in imo as if it fails the zerg is essentially dead. He will not have an expansion. Not enough larvae for economy/army and will start stockpiling resources because he just doesnt have enough things to spend it on.

Lol Eulogy youre masters league @_@ sentry > ling (bane and zerg varieties), you really have never been baneling zergling busted in the early game before?? For me itll usually be zealot, sentry, stalker, if he tries to bust you and fail and you didnt lose anything you can pretty much take it with a good push..and I think ignore early game cannon just to hold that off, people used to say that about stopping early marine marauder push (omg how much I used to hate that in pvt) but sentries are just so sexy @_@

sentrys are the best, hands down! he took out everything i had in the front, gateway pylon so he had a nice few banes, then lines, i think i was teching voids so i was being cheap with units untill i got my first void out. anyway i just thought it was a nice start for zerg :)
